Southgate’s understudies steal the show
England take on Wales at the famous Wembley stadium, Southgate has been hit with a number of coronavirus led issues such as a surprise party for Tammy Abraham leaving Chillwell and Sancho out of the playing squad tonight . Tonight we see a clearly inexperienced international side in which Calvert-lewin and Saka have the chance to steal the show. on the other side Ryan Gigg’s Wales side are without the world class talent of Bale and Aaron Ramsey. if anything this international friendly will allow for the futures of each country to showcase their young talent.

Thats half time with the score 1-0 to England, it was a half full of Grealish displaying his clear talent, honestly he has run the English attack throughout the night and provided Calvert-lewin with the dream debut goal. Wales have had some chances but have really lacked the finished product if anything their missing the finishing touch of a Calvert-lewin. apart from the goal the game has been fairly even with mixed possession, i am excited to see if Saka will release some of his brilliance that we have seen so recently for Arsenal in the second half.
Calvert-lewin is so far keeping his title as the most prolific striker in europe so far this season.
