Another perfect game-plan from Jose Mourinho saw Tottenham take the North London bragging rights, with a comfortable two nil win via goals for Heung Min Son and Harry Kane.
Tottenham’s breakthrough goal came just 13 minutes in, with a fast counter-attack, the likes of which has become synonymous with this Spurs team under Mourinho, when Serge Aurier found Kane in the middle of the pitch, who swivelled and found Son on the left hand side. From here Son drove at the Arsenal defence and expertly curled the ball from around 25 yards into the right-hand side of the goal. Another Spurs goal created by Kane for Son.

Giovani Lo Celso shifted the ball to Son on the edge of the box, who slid in Kane to his left, and the England striker fired the ball against the crossbar and into the net, becoming the all-time leading goal-scorer in North London derbies.
Mourinho’s side used the same blueprint as against Manchester City and Chelsea in recent weeks, allowing Arsenal 70% of the ball and remaining defensively compact and disciplined in order to keep a fourth successive league clean sheet, with Arsenal only managing two shots on target.
While Spurs regained top spot, Arsenal sit 15th, struggling to create chances in games. The Gunners will need to find a remedy for their creative woes, and get talisman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang firing again.
