Frankie Elliott speaks to Sophie Gabbay, a first-year music student at The British and Irish Modern Music institute (BIMM) in Brighton, to see how she is finding studying for a degree during a global pandemic.
Sophie is one of thousands of students across the country who are facing the prospect that the whole of the 2019/2020 academic year will be taught online due to the latest national lockdown imposed by the UK government on the 4’th of January this year.
