Arsenal will be desperate to avoid a third Premier League defeat on the spin when they host Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Mikel Arteta witnessed his side face two defeats in a week, away to both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa with their hopes of finishing in the Champions League places getting bleaker with every passing week.
Leeds United, on the other hand, enter Sunday afternoon’s fixture with their tails up, in some good form and ahead of their opponents by a single point in 10th place.
Leeds have won three of their last four games after their comfortable 2-0 win at home to Crystal Palace in midweek. They held Arsenal to a 0-0 draw back in November, a game they felt they should have come away with the three points.
Team News
Arsenal
Arsenal will be without Thomas Partey for Sunday’s Premier League game. Partey came off in last weekend’s defeat at Aston Villa with a hamstring injury – his third injury since his move from Atletico Madrid in October.

Leeds
Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips is an injury doubt for the visit to the Emirates and will be assessed after sustaining a calf injury in Monday night’s home win against Crystal Palace.
Rodrigo and Pablo Hernandez have not recovered from respective muscle strains and both remain out for the foreseeable future.
Winger Ian Poveda (ankle), plus defenders Diego Llorente (muscle strain), Robin Koch and Gaetano Berardi (knee) still remain on the treatment table.
