Manchester United 3-1 Burnley
Mason Greenwood continued his great run of form in front of goal as his brace keeps United’s faint title hopes alive.

The hosts took the lead 3 minutes into the start of the second half through Mason Greenwood, who has enjoyed a return to goalscoring form of late. Marcus Rashford’s great work on the left saw him roll the ball across the box to Bruno Fernandes who let it roll through his legs to Greenwood who turned home.
The lead didn’t last long for the hosts. Only minutes later James Tarkowski powered home a header from a corner. Tarkowski had the run on Maguire and rose earliest and highest to power the visitor’s level.
It took until the last five minutes, but Greenwood fired United back into the lead. The youngster picked the ball up wide right of the box and his driven shot was deflected past the helpless Bailey Peacock-Farrell.
The hosts then killed the game off in added time after a swift counterattack conducted by Fernandes. The Portuguese rolled left to substitute Donny van de Beek who squared across goal to leave Edinson Cavani with the easiest finish of his illustrious career.
The visitors did have the ball in the back of the net inside a minute after Dean Henderson came along way and failed to claim a long ball into his box which Chris Wood headed in. However, Wood was offside by a fraction.
The result moves the Red Devils eight points behind top spot whilst Burnley still aren’t safe but were dealt a boost to hopes after Fulham dropped more points late on against Arsenal.
