Brazil are taking on South Korea on their quest to World Cup glory this evening at the Stadium 974 in Doha.
Seleção finished top of their Group G, with two wins and a somewhat shocking loss to Cameroon, but with quite different faces in the starting lineup.
South Korea on the other hand achieved a fantastic win over Portugal in their last game in Group H in order to qualify for the last 16.
Regarding team news, Neymar should be up and running for Brazil after he was sidelined with an ankle injury since the very first Group G game. Gabriel Jesus and Alex Telles are however done with the World Cup, both out with knee injuries. The left back position looks a bit shaky for Brazil right now with Telles and Alex Sandro missing; however, Danilo should do simply fine there.
South Korea’s Kim Min-Jae did not play against Portugal with some calf problems; Lee Kang-In and Kim Young-Gwon were also substituted against Portugal with minor knocks and remain a doubt for Paulo Bento’s starting lineup. It will be all or nothing now for Son Heung-Min as all eyes are on him – he has scored only one goal for South Korea from his last 13 shots-on-goal.
