A triple change for Brighton at half time saw Geummin Lee, Emma Kullberg and Madison Haley enter the pitch.
The substitutions had little effect and Spurs continued the half where they left off looking a constant threat.
Spurs dominance was rewarded with a rocket from Grace Clinton which flew under the bar leaving the keeper with no chance, the kind of strike worthy of deciding any game.
Substitute Ria Percival sealed all three points in injury time in a convincing display from the Lilywhites.
Spurs will be looking to continue their fine form which sees them with three wins on the bounce in all competitions.
