Manchester United will pay tribute to club great Sir Bobby Charlton before the Manchester derby, in their first Premier League home game since his death.
There will be a mosaic covering the Sir Alex Ferguson stand, a surfer banner displayed across the Stretford end and a commemorative banner laid on the centre circle before kick-off.
United are aiming to win three consecutive league games for the first time this season and need to improve going forward according to manager Erik ten Hag.
In his pre-match press conference, he said: “It’s co-operation and that has to click,”
“We showed, this week, some examples where we are in overload positions going to the opponents’ goal and we don’t net, or we don’t even hit the target. We should do this better.”
City will move within two points of league leaders Spurs with victory, but are without Manual Akanji, who was sent off in last week’s 2-1 win over Brighton.
Their manager, Pep Guardiola, said his team need “the right mentality to play for these points,” in his pre-match press conference.
“United always have been – it doesn’t matter the manager – a tough opponent”.
Score Prediction: United 2-2 City
