If the New York Jets thought they were going to have a stroll in a London park on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, Justin Jefferson’s unshakeable confidence will definitely make them think otherwise.
For someone described by his head coach Kevin O’Connell as ‘’the best receiver walking the planet”, Jefferson sure displayed the self-belief to back up that title.
When asked about the pressure of being a number one wide receiver, Jefferson said: “It doesn’t really matter who or what anybody else thinks, I think I will go out there and kill them.”
Jefferson also shared the same belief for the entire wide receiver room of the Vikings.
“No one can guard us and no one can stay in front of us and I mean we honestly feel that way. Every single day we just try to prove that out to the world that we are the best receiving core in the league” he said.
Jefferson will look to put on a great show against the Jets and he also put on a bit of a light-hearted show too for reporters in his pre-match press conference.

The Jets defence hopes Jefferson won’t be celebrating come Sunday but in the form he’s in, preventing him from showcasing various endzone celebrations will be easier said than done.
