There’s lots to talk about after a turbulent final hour of deadline day.
Manchester City were busy after star-man Erling Haaland shockingly pushed for a move away before the end of the window. City saw a £67m bid for Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres rejected before ruling out the sale of the Norwegian international to Paris-Saint-Germain.
Chelsea have signed Victor Osimhen from Napoli after matching Galatasaray’s £68m bid. The Nigerian is currently on loan at Galatasaray, where they were looking to make the move permanent. He signs for Chelsea on a six-year-deal worth £300,000 a week.

Liverpool completed the transfer of 18-year-old Vitor Reis in a £16.7m deal from Palmeiras despite his £84m release clause. Reis reportedly turned down offers from Barcelona, Tottenham and Celtic before agreeing his six-year deal at Anfield. He will return to his former club on loan until June 2025.
Embed from Getty ImagesSunderland agreed a deal with Ajax to bring back 34-year-old Jordan Henderson to his boyhood club, but was shockingly u-turned when the former England international opted to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq. Henderson’s representatives stated “he feels there is unfinished business in Saudi Arabia”.
Ajax sealed the return of a former player, with Christian Eriksen to rejoin when his contract expires next summer.
