Australia and Argentina shared the points after a spirited comeback from the Pumas saw them reduce a nine-point deficit to draw.

An intense first half saw Australia dominate possession and territory going into the break 9-6 up but were denied two tries.
In the 16th minute of the game, Jordan Petaia was denied try number one after his toe was on the dead ball line. Meanwhile a second try by Marika Koroibete was ruled out for a forward pass in the 41st minute.
The second half continued like the first had ended, Argentina conceding yet another foul which resulted in a sin bin for Julián Montoya in the 45th minute.
However, as time went on Argentinians began to fight back with three penalties without reply to tie the game up, the third coming in the 71st minute.
An intense final few minutes saw both teams play a kicking game to gain territory, during this, in the 78th minute, Reece Hodge missed an important kick that would have given Australia the lead.
A late turnover and long kick from the Pumas almost gave them the try they needed however Australia snatched the ball and put it into touch to end the game in the 82nd minute.
The draw sets up and intense final two weekends with all three teams on six points. Next week Argentina face the All Blacks, while Australia wait 14 days until they take the Pumas on again.
