With Reiss Nelson and Ben White linking up down the right hand side, the ball is cut back to Fabio Vieira who’s shot was blocked and cleared but only as far Kieran Tierney who’s half volley nestled into the bottom right.
Eddie Nketia’s cut back to Vieira makes the room for the shot which is unfortunately blocked by teammate Gabriel Jesus preventing a certain two goal lead.
A Fantastic save from Yanick Brecher denied Nketia doubling the lead for the gunners form Vieira’s driven corner. The Portuguese was involved in all of Arsenals good work during the first half.
Embed from Getty ImagesEarly into the second half Arsenals lofted freekick ends up finding Jesus but once again Brecher prevents the score line doubling to the anger of the Brazilian who was looking to end his goalless streak.
After some great work down the left the ball was cut back to Antonio Marchesano who’s shot was well saved by Aaron Ramsdale. However Adria Guerrero scores the rebound but had found himself to be in an offside position.
An excellent display from Kieran Tierney both with his goal and also defensively makes him my Man of the Match for tonight’s game.
