Good evening everyone, I’m Braidon Dye and i will be taking you through all the action Between Feyenoord and Roma in tonight’s Europa league play off game in De Kuip. I will also be giving updates on the other 5:45 pm games where there are three other games in Turkey, Switzerland and Germany
17:37- no Alireza Jahanbakhsh through injury for Feyenoord due to injury, and no Lutsharel Geertruida which is the only change from Feyenoord’s game at the weekend
17:42- Roma field a strong team with numerous changes from the defeat to Inter Milan on Saturday, they only have one win in their last eight European away games
17:43- We are nearly ready to go here in the Netherlands as these teams plan to renew their recent rivalry facing in European knockout football for the third time in three seasons

15′ YELLOW CARD- First booking of the match as Thomas Beelen pulls down Lukaku a bit silly from the Feyenoord centre back there
16′ CHANCE a good chance for Lukaku as Dybala’s cross is headed straight at the goalkeeper , Lukaku has only ever failed to score once in the Europa league and is the fourth highest goal scorer since the competitions rebrand in 2009/10 with 25 goals.

18:07- GOALLLLLL in Turkey as Galatasaray take the lead and its Karem Demirbay who gives the Turkish side the lead over Sparta Praha
24′ Mats Wieffer had a shot as it seemed to of open up for him to have a shot but its straight at the goalkeeper and its another disappointing finish from the Dutch side
27′ Its another opportunity for Feyenoord as a dangerous cross is played into the box but nobody gets anything on it and the goalkeeper claims but more positives for the home side.
18:16 GOALLLLLLLLL in Switzerland as sporting lead Young Boys 0-1 and its an OWN GOAL from Aurele Amenda and its unfortunate for the swiss side who have been well in the game.
34′ The Rotterdam faithful are furious with the referee for blowing for an elbow against Minteh and puts him in the Book it really didn’t look like a foul but referee controversies aren’t hard to find these days.
36′ its become a very even game here at De Kuip as both teams look dangerous going forward and are vulnerable to counter attacks, so far neither team can capitalise on this.
39′ Mile Svilar has been the slightly busier goalkeeper but hasn’t had to do anything extraordinary but somehow it is still 0-0 with both teams missing huge chances
40′ UNBELIEVABLE SAVE from a Paredes rocket which the Feyenoord keeper manages to get a finger tip save to push it onto the bar and that was so nearly special from the Italians.

18:28 GOALLLLLLLLL Young Boys Hit back nearly straight away and half the deficit through Filip Ugrinic and its game on in Switzerland
45′ Romelu Lukaku nearly gives Roma the lead just before half time as a corner is met and its a free header but its straight at the keeper as another chance goes a begging.
46′ GOALLLLLLLLLL for FEYENOORD its a terrific goal at a crucial point in this match as Igor Paixoa with his second ever European goal and his second against Roma, its a free header from the centre of the box into the bottom right hand corner, IT’S ELECTRIC IN DE KUIP
HALF TIME- Feyenoord lead Roma by 1-0 with a goal right on time which sent De Kuip into bedlam after Igor Paixoa headed the home side in front right on the stroke of half time and that is so frustrating for the Italian side as they have had chances to be in front themselves after hitting the bar and Lukaku’s header which was straight at the keeper minutes before the goal.

18:42 Roma Fans won’t be happy as they feel that goal came during their best spell of the match, there has been plenty of chances for both sides the only difference being a moment of sloppy defending from Roma let Feyenoord take advantage and the hosts have something to hold onto in the second half.

46′ BACK UNDERWAY- can Roma respond in this second half they are down but they are certainly not out , Lukaku needs to try get involved if they are going to get back into this match.

53′ Roma are trying to get level, they are starting to control the ball in the Feyenoord half but nothing is coming of it so far but its better from Roma.
54′ HALF CHANCE- a dangerous cross from Spinazzola which is headed over the bar by Lukaku but pressure is building on the home side.
57′ Another header goes wide as Mancini whips in the cross which Pellegrini heads well wide surely its only a matter of time before Roma score?

72′ A hectic las 10 minutes in the UEFA Europa League as goals are flying in everywhere but back to Rotterdam where Feyenoord are trying to regain the advantage after that Lukaku equaliser but that goal has made this very interesting indeed.

FULL TIME- A exciting game has finished at De Kuip as it finishes 1-1 Feyenoord took a deserved lead moments before half time with a Paixoa header put them one up but a Romelu Lukaku goal which took him to joint top goal scorer a long with Joao Pedro meant Roma leave Rotterdam with a Draw ahead of the second leg in Italy in seven days time.
