Tonights game between Dortmund vs Club Brugge in group F in the Champions League. Last time in the Champions League both sides played each other in the reverse fixture where Dortmund won 3-0 in Belgium. Dortmund currently sit top of group F with six point in three games, while Club Brugge are in third with four and will drop down into the group stage at this rate.

Dortmund’s starting 11 tonight

Dortmund have made a lot of changes to their side that won against Hertha Berlin 5-2 in the Bundesliga. The players that are coming into the side is Manuel Akanji, Thomas Delaney, Jude Bellingham, Giovanni Reyna and Thorgan Hazard. This helps show Dortmund’s depth in their squad as Marco Reus, Emre Can, Axel Witsel, Julien Brandt and Mahmoud Dahoud drop down to the bench.

Philippe Clement may have had to change his sides starting 11 due to Emmanuel Dennis being kicked off the the squad, this is because of Dennis kicking off because he didn’t get the seat he wanted on the team bus. Club Brugge has made three changes to their squad to their last game. The Belgium side one at the weekend beat K.V. Kortrijk 1-0 thanks to a Noa Lang goal. The players that are coming into the side are Odilon Kossounou, Éder Álvarez Balanta and Michael Krmenčík are in the side for Brandon Mechele, Mats Rits and Youssouph Badji.

Erling Haaland this week won the European Golden Boy and scored four goal for his side against Hertha Berlin in a 5-2 win for his side in the Bundesliga. This season Haaland is joint top goal scorer in the Champions League with four goals. Last season Haaland scored 44 in all competitions which includes goals for his former side RB Salzburg. This season Haaland has already scored 14 goals in all competitions this season. Haaland only 20 years old and has many years left at the top level. If Club Brugge has any chance in getting anything from this game they will have to keep the Norwegian quiet.

Both sides are coming out for the start of the game in the Signal Iduna Park.

Min 2: Haaland gets his first shot off the game after a cross from Raphaël Guerreiro which flew wide of the goal. The Club Brugge defence will need to close down Haaland better if they are going to anything from the game.

Min 5: Dortmund are having a lot of possession on the opening moments of the game.

Min 8: Sancho cuts inside and took a shot from outside the penalty area but it was blocked by Kossounou and goes out for a corner.

Min 12: Dortmund have been able to break down the Club Brugge defence so fair.

Min 13: Reyna went on a good run getting through the Club Brugge defence and passed it to Guerreiro but he could not get a clean shot on goal.

Bellingham became the youngest ever English player in the Champions League this season.

Min 17: Club Brugge has done well to keep Dortmund out so far keeping out Haaland and Sancho.

Min 18: GOAL FOR DORTMUND: Haaland has scored again firing the ball passed Simon Mignolet. Sancho played the ball to Haaland who was able to peel off the Club Brugge defender and fired a shot that hit the post and went in.

Min 21: Reyna had a chance to score but he wasn’t able to get a shot on goal as Club Brugge was able to clear their lines.

Min 23: Club Brugge had their first chance in the game with Vormer taking a shot outside the penalty area but it curled wide of the goal.

Min 26: Krmenčík takes a shot from the half-way line but was unable to achieve the spectacular has the ball went well wide for a goal kick.

Min 30: Deli has had to make a clearance to stop Haaland scoring a second goal. Haaland has already scored three goals in two games against the Belgium side.

Min 31: Akanji was able to get a shot off which forced a save from Mignolet. Dortmund are putting the away side under pressure.

Lucien Favre will be happy with his sides performance so fair in the game.

Min 35: Club Brugge are unable to keep control of the ball for a sustained period of time.

Min 40: Reyna had a chance to score after a mistake from Deli but his shot was deflected which went over the bar. Reyna should have scored the chance but wasn’t able to get the shot on target.

Min 43: Delaney took a shot from the edge of the penalty area which was caught by the former Liverpool goal keeper.

Min 44: Bellingham wins a free kick outside the penalty area.

Min 45: GOAL FOR DORTMUND. Sancho scores a superb free kick curling the ball into the top corner. Dortmund now have extended their lead just before half time.

Half time at the Signal Iduna Park where Dortmund are winning thanks to goals from Haaland and Sancho. Dortmund have been in complete control of the game so far and look like they are going to be getting three points in this game which will help their chances in qualifying into the next round of the Champions League. Club Brugge are struggling with the pace of Dortmund and are struggling to get any control in the game.

Both sides are coming out for the second half.

The second half has kicked off in Germany.

Min 47: Sancho has the first shot of the second half but he didn’t strike the ball cleanly and Mignolet held his shot. If Dortmund get the next goal in the game it will all but certainly secure the win for Dortmund.

Min 50: Haaland gets his first shot off in the second half after Guerreiro played him the ball but his shot went over the crossbar.

Min 52: Substitution for Club Brugge with Balanta off for Mats Rits

Club Brugge have struggled to get in this game at all.

Min 54: Everyone watching the game thought Haaland was about the score as he was running towards goal with the ball but his shot took a deflection as it went out for a corner.

Min 59: GOAL FOR DORTMUND: Haaland scores his second goal of the game reacting quickly to a mistake from the Club Brugge defence and was able to smash the ball into the back of the net. Haaland now has scored 16 goals in all competitions this season.

Min 63: Dortmund will be very happy with the way things have gone this evening as they are close to qualifying to the next round.

Min 66: Substitution for Club Brugge with Youssouph Badji on for Michael Krmenčík. A possible last ditch attempt for the Belgium side to get back into the game.

Full time today in the game at the Signal Iduna Park where Dortmund won 3-0 against Club Brugge. The German side today was in complete control of the whole game. Haaland’s two goals has help his side win the game with a Jadon Sancho free kick in between so help secure his side the win. Club Brugge looked out of their depth for most of the game and didn’t look like they was ever going to score.
