Matt Ryan – 6
Didn’t necessarily have too much to do in the game, saved Minamino’s attempt in the first and couldn’t really do anything to prevent Liverpool’s goal.
Ben White – 6
Did his best to try and stop Jota’s goal by making a last ditch challenge but wasn’t able to, an all round solid display from Ben White again.

Another solid performance from Brighton’s skipper, maybe could’ve dealt with Jota’s goal a little bit better but apart from that, solid display yet again.
Adam Webster – 6
Likewise with Ben White and Lewis Dunk, a good solid display but was the victim of being played dummy by Diogo Jota for his goal.
Joel Veltman – 6
Came in to replace Lamptey after his red card last week and did brilliantly as he hardly gave the ball away, it was difficult to step into Lamptey’s boots as Veltman doesn’t have his blistering pace.
Yves Bissouma – 6
Slipped and lost Andy Robertson for the Liverpool goal, he tried to create chances late on for the hosts and gave it his all, a good display from Bissouma out on the pitch.
Pascal Gross – 7
Played a good ball over the top to Connolly in which his shot was blocked, and was looking to create chances for Brighton all match, he scored the equaliser from the penalty spot after a VAR review to rescue his team a point.
Solly March – 7
Intercepted an early ball in from Jota to prevent Salah from tapping it in, had a free kick in the second half saved by Alisson, and put in a great cross in to Jahanbakhsh in which he couldn’t quite get his head to it, Solly March has done well after moving to left-wing-back.
Aaron Connolly – 7
Had a great chance to put Brighton in the lead in the first half after he was played through on goal by Neil Maupay, but put his shot wide.
Won the penalty for Brighton and looked extremely dangerous for the Seagulls today, a bit of a shock that he was subbed off by Graham Potter in the second half.

A bad day for Neil Maupay, the Frenchman started the game well as he played a great ball to put Connolly through on goal in the first half.
It all went downhill afterwards though, as the forward put his penalty wide in the 21st minute and then five minutes later picked up an injury after he pulled up off the ball meaning that he couldn’t carry on, you’ve got to feel for him.

Struggled to get into the game in the first half but did better in the second half as his shot to the near post was saved by Alisson, he managed to win the penalty late on after he was fouled by Robertson.
SUBSTITUTES
Leandro Trossard – 5
Replaced Neil Maupay in the first half and had a good effort which just went wide of the far post, he struggled to make an impact in the second half as the Belgian makes his recovery from injury.
Adam Lallana – N/A
Lallana only lasted seven minutes on the pitch, he just can’t catch a break from constant injuries…
Alireza Jahanbakhsh – 6
Did well after coming on, had a late chance in stoppage time to win it for Brighton but his effort was deflected out for a corner.
LIVERPOOL
Alisson – 6
Wasn’t called into action too much and made comfortable saves from Brighton attempts, but Alisson will be disappointed that he didn’t manage to save Gross’s penalty.
Neco Williams – 3
A poor game from the 19-year-old, he conceded the penalty in the first half after a clumsy tackle on Connolly and then was withdrawn for Henderson before the second half started, a game to forget.
Fabinho – 7
Solid defensively and barely put a foot wrong, did well to help start attacks for the away side.
Nathaniel Phillips – 6
A second premier league for the 23-year-old and was solid for the majority of the game, he won headers in the box and made a few last ditch challenges, a good display.
Andy Robertson – 5
Looked decent in the first half as he blocked a shot from Connolly and got forward a fair few times to help create attacks, however VAR spotted a foul on Danny Welbeck by Robertson in stoppage time to gift Brighton the equaliser.

Looked okay in the first half as he had an effort which was dealt comfortably by Matt Ryan, couldn’t manage to make an impact in the second half though.
Georginio Wijnaldum – 7
A good performance from the Dutchman as he controlled the midfield well for Liverpool and helped out defensively too.
James Milner – 5
Controlled possession well in the first half and then moved to right back in the second half in replacement of Neco Williams, a hamstring injury in the second half ended Milner’s game and gives Jurgen Klopp another injury blow.
Mohamed Salah – 7
Salah was just caught offside after he thought he put Liverpool in front in the first half .
He assisted the opening goal from Diogo Jota and was a constant threat all game, the Egyptian was extremely frustrated with Jurgen Klopp after he was substituted in the 63th minute.

Played a great ball over the top to Mohamed Salah for Liverpool’s first disallowed goal of the game, didn’t particularly make much of an impact in the second half, an average display from the Brazilian.
Diogo Jota – 8 (Man Of The Match)
Liverpool’s top player at the minute is Diogo Jota, another great performance from the forward as he scored Liverpool’s goal after a great dummy on Adam Webster which gave him the chance to find the target and give them the lead, a deserved man of the match for an all round great performance.
SUBSTITUTES
Jordan Henderson – 6
Came on at half time to help give protection to the midfield, put in a great free kick for Sadio Mane to head it into the goal, but was caught offside, made a positive difference after coming on.
Sadio Mane – 6
Sadio Mane saw his goal disallowed after he was caught offsidce from Henderson’s free kick, second goal after heading in from Henderson’s delivery
Curtis Jones – 5
Slotted into right back in replacement of James Milner in the second half and had to deal with Brighton attacks coming down to his side.
