A superb strike from Grace Clinton was the difference as Spurs soar in impressive display.

Brighton took the lead against the run of play with Elisabeth Terland registering her third goal of the season after powering in a header from a Maisie Symonds corner.

Despite this Spurs regained their composure and took back control of the game, dominating possession and pinning Brighton back in their half without creating any clear-cut chances.

Poor decision making in the final third cost Spurs who were bright despite going a goal down.

Drew Spence was at the centre of everything for Spurs receiving the ball on the half turn and driving at the heart of Brighton’s defence.

Spurs were rewarded when Spence picked the ball up on the edge of the box and unleashed a brilliant shot which struck the bar, Martha Thomas reacted quickest to fire home the equaliser.

A triple change for Brighton at half time saw Geummin Lee, Emma Kullberg and Madison Haley enter the pitch.

The substitutions had little effect and Spurs continued the half where they left off looking a constant threat.

Spurs dominance was rewarded with a rocket from Grace Clinton which flew under the bar leaving the keeper with no chance, the kind of strike worthy of deciding any game.

Substitute Ria Percival sealed all three points in injury time in a convincing display from the Lilywhites.

Spurs will be looking to continue their fine form which sees them with three wins on the bounce in all competitions.
