Brighton & Hove Albion manager Dario Vidosic described his team as “brave” after coming away with a thrilling 4-2 victory against “a tough team” in Aston Villa.
In a match where they conceded the first goal of each half and went down to ten players in the game’s final minutes, Brighton showed that they were ready for any challenge they faced to get the win against Villa.

Vidosic, who was appointed Brighton manager in July having recently coached Australian side Melbourne City, also believes his side could have played better in terms of performing for the entire 90 minutes.
“Performance I think we dipped a little bit throughout the game and probably frustrated at times on the sideline…we do really really good work, break their press and then we probably just make a small error” he said.
Nevertheless, Vidosic also understands how difficult it is to win in a league as competitive as the Women’s Super League.
“You need to celebrate the wins because it’s not easy especially in this league,” he said.
Aston Villa manager Robert de Pauw could not hide his disappointment with the red card showed to Paula Tomas as he believed “it was the wrong decision in the end.”
“It was clearly not excessive force. I think that moment changed the game,” he said.
