Dario Vidosic was pleased with his squad’s 3-2 victory. Conceding two goals soured their efforts, but Vidosic believed it was what they needed to turn the game around. “I saw them all talking to each other, encouraging each other just to keep playing and then, went straight back to playing our football and scored a beautiful goal to score the third.”

Vidosic’s role in Brighton’s refreshing victory run can’t be ignored. The team have now matched the total amount of league wins made last season.

Yet, he refuses to take credit for it, likening his team to Lionel Messi. “There’s probably many facets of his game that he can improve, even though he’s unbelievable at a lot of them.”

Rehanne Skinner maintained a positive outlook despite a devastating loss. “I think we deserve something out of the game.”

Walking away with no points, Skinner was disappointed but acknowledged the loopholes that weakened the Hammers’ defence. “I think we were a little bit passive in some moments…we could have got a bit better pressure on the ball.”

However, the morale is high. “We’ve come back from two old down, so I think that’s something that’s important to the team.”
