Coach Robert Saleh believes his Jets team are still “in the thick of it” at 2-2 and loves the atmosphere here in London. He thinks it’s awesome that all teams are represented and lots of yelling and screaming, which makes for a fun atmosphere.
During today’s press conference before the Jets game with the Vikings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Coach Robert Saleh said that the Jets are still in the thick of it at 2-2, adding “we are at the nothing part of football, where you’re climbing a hill or staying at the bottom” with the next four games will be a big part of the season.
When asked if he felt the pressure to deliver for the fans, he said “Pressure? In New York?” After a little laugh from the audience, Saleh added that “the expectation is to win in New York. You win and you win the Super Bowl, lose and you fire everyone.”
Coach Saleh said that Vikings Wide Receiver Justin Jefferson is “elite in every sense” so they will have to make sure they work hard to stop him. He also mentioned that the Vikings “Oline is working well to protect Sam (Darnold).”
There was no new injury news. Offensive Tackle Morgan Moses is out with an MCL sprain, Line Backer CJ Mosley “will continue to work” according to Saleh but is a doubt for this Sunday. However, both Offensive Lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker and Offensive Tackle Tyron Smith were expected to fully participate in practice today.
