The Conservative MP for Southend West in Essex, Sir David Amess has died after being stabbed multiple times at his local constituency surgery, at Belfairs Methodist Church in Leigh-on-Sea.
Essex police say that they have arrested a suspect. And are not currently looking for anyone else.
