The two nations battled out a thrilling contest, with Morocco being the far more dominant side to their counterparts, despite Croatia having had superior chances.

Croatia, on the other hand, looked up to their captain, Luka Modric to lead them during their time. However, the compact and energetic efforts of the Moroccan side meant, the former Ballon D’Or winner was unable to impact the game.
The 2018 world cup finalists had the more transparent chances, with Nikola Vlasic coming the closest to the goal.
The Croats are set to take on Canada in their second fixture, in what will now be assumed as a match with grave implications. Morocco is programmed to welcome the golden generation of Belgium in their second match.
