Croatia send Canada packing with a thumping 4-1 victory over the ‘Maple Leafs’ as a brace from Andrej Kramaric sent the Croatians to the top of Group F!

The Croats emerged victorious by four goals to one in a rousing match against Canada! A phenomenal running header at the back post by Alphonso Davies from a whipped cross in by Tajon Buchanan from the far right sent the Canadians flying just two minutes in.

The Croatian midfield of Mateo Kovacic, Marcelo Brozovic, and captain Luka Modric asserted their dominance establishing control and maintaining the game’s tempo.

Their reliable tactic eventually paved the way for their equalizer when Andrej Kramaric slotted home a spectacular left-footed finish.

To the ecstasy of the Croatian supporters, Marko Livaja ensured the Croats were rallied from behind, with a fabulous finish from the 29-year-old, when his splendid strike was sent past keeper Milan Borjan.

Croatia enhanced their lead into a third when Ivan Perisic sought Kramaric who sent the nation ahead with a fine finish.

The Vatreni all but sealed their victory when an error by Canadian center-half Kamal Miller would lead to a fourth for the Croatians, with a great finish by Lovro Majer.
