Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will need to see a better attacking display than what they produced in their drab yet controversial goalless draw against Chelsea if they are to pick up three points against a stubborn Palace side. The Eagles previous two games, against strugglers Brighton and Fulham, saw them concede 41 shots at goal whilst only mustering six themselves.
However, a late Christian Benteke goal in the derby and a hard-fought goalless draw against Fulham has seen the Eagles miraculously pick up four points from those two games which has taken them 10 points away from the drop.
United on the other hand will be looking to put distance between themselves and the rest of the top four chasing pack. Despite only picking up a point at Stamford Bridge, results elsewhere saw Solskjaer’s side remain second and maintain a six-point advantage over fifth-place Chelsea.
The Red Devils only managed to pick up two wins from their five February games but will be hoping their exceptional away form, which has seen them go over a year unbeaten on the road, can see them start March with a win against tough opposition.

This game will come too soon for previous match-winner Zaha, who will remain sidelined through injury. Several other injuries for Palace could see them field an unchanged side from the weekend.
Donny van de Beek scored his first and only United goal in the defeat earlier in the season and made the subs bench after returning from injury against Chelsea. With the Manchester Derby around the corner, Solskjaer might not risk the fitness of Anthony Martial with Edinson Cavani also out injured.
