Jack Gibbs exclusively reveals the Premier League interest around Dartford FC prodigy Olly Box, 18.
“I think I will get the move at the end of the season,” Box told Overtime Online, after attracting interest from West Ham and Crystal Palace scouts after breaking into the starting 11 with his first season in the first team in the 2023/24 season.
The midfielder has already scored four goals for his side since December, Box is considered a star boy by his current team Dartford FC.
After his remarkable season so far the 18-year-old is keen on a move to the Premier League, “It would be a dream come true, I have always wanted to be a footballer (in the Premier league) since I was young.”
Box spent the first half of this season at Margate FC on loan, which was meant to be until the end of the season but was called back before Christmas. “I think my loan move was cut short because Dartford saw I was doing well and thought I was ready to play for them,” Box said.
We may well see Box’s name on a Premier League team sheet but for who? Only time will tell.
