Norwich City head coach Dean Smith stated that he was “disappointed not to get all three points” as the Canaries drew 0-0 with Queens Park Rangers at Carrow Road on Wednesday night.
When questioned about what went wrong for his side on the night, Smith commented: “It was one of those nights where we didn’t take our big chances. If we score they have to open up. I thought there was some long periods when we were in control.
“I just think in those periods when we try to force it we need to be quicker on the ball. If we play one or two touch in our build we can play through any team in this league.”
QPR boss Mick Beale said “the longer we can stay there the better” when asked how important a point was for his team as they’re currently sat in fourth.
Beale also stated that: “It was a good game. You always think a mistake might win it for one team, and you just don’t want it to be yours (that loses). That’s a really big point for QPR.”
Norwich travel to Rotherham on Saturday, while the R’s host West Brom at Loftus Road.
