The future is promising as the Eastbourne youngsters all have amazing performances to send their side through to the second round of the Sussex Senior Cup.

In the 11th minute Eastbourne took a 1-0 lead from a cross which was tapped in at the back post by Dan Rogers.

Very quickly, Aaron Hopkinson doubled Eastbourne’s lead with an absolute worldie as the Midhurst defence left him unmarked.

Aaron Capon made it 3-0 to Eastbourne as he took a touch of elegance to then slot the ball in between the keeper’s legs not long before the break.

As the whistle for half time went, Midhurst were beginning to find their feet however, was it too late after conceding 3 goals in the first half?

In the 50th minute, promising attacker, Leke Ademola buries after only being substituted 5 minutes prior as he finishes off a well worked individual goal.

Eastbourne carry on where they left off as they proceeded to dominate the majority of the game, giving the Midhurst attack a nightmare of a performance.

Jack Samways makes it 5-0 as the Midhurst keeper makes an woeful decision to leave his box and ends up giving away possession just for the defender to slot the ball into the net from range.

Finally, Eastbourne put the game to bed after an outstanding performance as Fletcher Hilman gets on the end of a Ademola rebound.

The future is looking promising as the Eastbourne youngsters all have amazing performances to send their side through to the second round of the Sussex Senior Cup.
