Home   /   Everton vs Manchester United: Preview

Manchester United aim to keep their champions league hopes alive as they travel to Goodison Park to take on relegation candidates Everton.

Both teams come into this fixture on the back of some inconsistent showing. Everton have won just one of their last five games (L4) and United have won two (D2, L1) in their last five games.

Everton have won just one of their last 13 Premier League meetings with Manchester United (D6, L6). United won this fixture 3-1 last season but haven’t won consecutive away league games against Everton since a run of three between August 2005 and September 2007.

United have won 37 Premier League games against Everton. United have only beaten Tottenham Hotspur (38) more often in the competition’s history.

Man United’s Bruno Fernandes has been directly involved in six goals (4G, 2A) in his four Premier League appearances against Everton including four (3G, 1A) at Goodison Park in his previous two games. The last player to score in three consecutive away games against Everton was Ruud Van Nistelrooy.

No Everton player has scored more home goals than Richarlison (3) this season but he has failed to find the back of the net in the league at Goodison Park since December.

Fred has been directly involved in six goals in 13 Premier League games under Ralf Rangnick with only Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo (seven each) involved in more. He was involved in five goals in his first 87 league appearances.
