Hello and welcome to our coverage of the final group game of group B, which sees Porto take on Atletico at the Estádio do Dragão.
Atletico will look to better Bayer Leverkusen’s result against Club Brugge in order to secure passage into the Europa league.
Both Brugge and Porto have already secured qualification but will be battling it out for top spot tonight.
5 GOAL! Porto play a few passes to work the ball into Atletico’s box, Evanilson plays the ball across the box to an unmarked Taremi who taps home to give the hosts an early lead.
12 Chance! Porto moving the ball well around the box with big holes in Atletico’s defence. Taremi should make it 2-0 with a shot at goal just inside the box but the keepers outstretched leg keeps it out.
23 GOAL! 2-0 Porto. A long ball down the left flank sees Galeno beat Savic to the ball and cut it back to Eustaqio who side foots into the bottom left corner. A blistering start from the blue and white.
Half time
Porto much the better team in the first half with Atletico struggling to throw any punches back. Porto’s passing has been crisp and they have been able to break Atletico’s defence down too easily. A big second half needed for Diego Simeone’s men, who will no doubt be giving his team a talking to try and earn their berth into the Europa League.

An excellent start and first half display from Porto proved to be too much for Atletico to come back from. Porto could have scored more and should have put the game to bed quicker, but they saw off a late scare from Atletico who are now out of Europe all together.
