Membership numbers in the UK increased by 13% from April 2021 to February 2022, however two-thirds of members are over the age of 50.
Will Glennister, and Luke Baynham, believe that golf clubs and manufacturers such as Nike have relaxed dress-code rules in the last few years.
However, they think golf clubs need to be more proactive in their strategy towards attracting younger players into the sport, as we move into 2023.
