Luke Humphries will aim to extend his healthy lead at the top of the BetMGM Premier League when the darts arrives to Brighton for Night Five.

Humphries overcame Luke Littler 6-4 in Exeter’s final last week for his second nightly win, which took the world number one to 15 points, seven clear of Littler in second.

‘Cool Hand’ Humphries won in Brighton in the Premier League last year, and begins his defence on the seaside against Rob Cross.

Littler comes to Brighton off the back of his rampant UK Open title victory, smashing James Wade 11-2 in the final.

The current World Champion and teenage sensation has averaged over 103 in his last 200 legs played, over four points clear of next-best Gary Anderson, and faces Chris Dobey in his opening match of the night.

Stephen Bunting is winless in his opening four games. Shades of Peter Wright’s 2024 campaign – who won just two games that year – will begin to appear if he fails to beat Nathan Aspinall in Brighton.

Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price will lock horns for the first quarter final of the night, with both players off to respectable starts of seven and six points respectively.
