In the penultimate day of the 19th Asian games in Hangzhou the stage is set for the grand finale of cricket between India and Afghanistan where both of them eye their historic gold medal. As the Cricket world cup is happening simultaneously in India both the teams are playing with their second-string side. A young Indian side have been very dominant in this tournament so far. Afghanistan have also done well to make it to the final. Let’s see how both teams shape up.
India:
Indian spinners Sai Kishore, Washington and Ravi Bishnoi were showed their brilliance in their last two games by sticking to their plans. Lone pacer in the XI, Arshdeep has also bowled very well so far. In batting top order has been in great form as YBJ scored century in QF and Captain Ruturaj and Tilak Varma batted brilliantly and eased the chase in SF. Emerging finisher Rinku, Dube are also in great form.

Gulbadin Naib leading this history making Afghan side. They have outplayed Pakistan in the Semifinal. Experienced Shehzad and Karim Janat added value to this side. Lack of depth in batting and less experienced bowling are making them least favourites in the final though they are very competitive in the field and make sure India will have tough times in the final.
