Jamie Vardy scored a dramatic stoppage time equaliser securing Leicester City’s passage to the Europa League knockout stage in an exhilarating 3-3 draw against Braga at the Braga Municipal stadium.
Jamie Vardy finished off an Marc Albrighton cross to late after stoppage time to secure a place in the next round after Leicester City came back from behind three times to draw.
In what was an exciting end-to-end finish, Braga thought they’d stolen the three points when Fransergio finished off a flowing counter attacking move. However, Jamie Vardy who came on with over 20 minutes to spare once again saved Leicester City from trouble.
Al Musrati put Braga one up in just the fourth minute, before Harvey Barnes forced home a swift response five minutes later.
Paulinho put Braga back in front in a lovely flowing move before Leicester City once again pulled one back, Luke Thomas grabbed his first goal for the club converting James Maddison’s cross.
