After the performance in the first leg the Porto manager, Sérgio Conceição, will be happy with how his side played taking advantage of the ageing Juventus side. He will be hoping his side can get off to a good start like they did in the first leg scoring within a minute. Porto knows how important it is to score an away goal in the second leg if they are going to progress into the quarter final. The Porto strikers, Mehdi Taremi and Moussa Marega, done well in the first leg both scoring for their side and will have to do it again.

In the second leg of this game Cristiano Ronaldo was able to score a hat trick and get his side into the next round of the Champions League. Juventus will be hoping that the Portuguese superstar can overturn another first leg deficit and go further in the competition. Last time Ronaldo played against Porto in the Champions League in 2009 for Manchester United where he scored one of the greatest goals in Champions League history.
The last time the two sides played each other at the Juventus Stadium the Italian side won 1-0 thanks to a penalty from Paulo Dybala in 2017, this result ensured Juventus won the last 16 tie 3-0. If Juventus was to win the game 1-0 they would progress further in the competition due to the away goal rule. However if Juventus was to win by a one goal margin but Porto score the Portuguese side will progress further in the competition.
