However, what followed was a lack of creative spark from both sides, with England often preferring to play the ball backwards and maintain possession instead of taking on the opposition to create a chance.
Chloe Kelly could’ve gifted Bronze an assist as the best chance of the first half fell to her after the right-back floated a ball in straight onto her head, but her attempt flew agonisingly just past the post.

Czech Republic failed to get into the game but somehow they were able to hold out for a draw. They had just 29.8% possession with just a singular shot on target from Andrea Staskova that was straight down the throat of Mary Earps.
