Lucy Bronze made her 100th appearance for England as the Lionesses’ were held to a 0-0 draw with the Czech Republic at the Amex Stadium.
Four minutes in Lauren James, who was making her full debut for her country, picked up the ball on the left-hand side and drove beyond the fullback but saw her effort come back off the post.
England would have their best chance of breaking the deadlock come on the hour mark as Lauren Hemp found herself unmarked in the six-yard box, but her effort across the face of goal hit the post, and Fran Kirby was unable to fire home on the rebound as her effort was blocked on the line.

Bronze was at the forefront of several England attacks on her landmark appearance, as England returned to the stadium where they had their record-breaking victory over Norway and their quarter-final win over Spain on the road to winning Euro 2022 earlier this summer.
The result tonight now means England have failed to win a competitive fixture for the first time in 15 games, the last time being a 0-0 with Spain in the Arnold Clark Cup in February, while the Czech Republic are now unbeaten in their last four fixtures in all competitions.
