Liverpool demolished Everton at Goodison Park with goals from Jordan Henderson, Diogo Jota and a brace from Mohamed Salah. Demarai Gray got his side back in the game to make it 2-1 but two further goals in the second half secured the win for Liverpool.
Liverpool got off to a strong start putting Everton under immediate pressure with Joel Matip and and Salah having early chances for the Reds. Liverpool captain, Henderson, opened the scoring with a delicate finish after a Sadio Mané assist.
Salah doubled Liverpool’s lead after a blistering run on goal leaving Lucas Digne for dead and was score his 18th goal of the season.
Gray got Everton back in the game with Richarlison finding the winger who went through on goal and was able find the back of the net with a calm finish.
Salah doubled Liverpool’s lead again after a mistake from Seamus Coleman meant the Egyptian was through on goal and put the ball just out of reach of Pickford in the Everton goal, with an inch perfect finish in the far corner of the goal.
Diogo Jota scored Liverpool’s fourth with a powerful finish which beat Pickford with ease after leaving the Everton defence for dead.
Liverpool remain in third after Manchester City and Chelsea won this evening as well. Everton are still in 14th place as they haven’t won since they beat Norwich City, eight games ago.

Another brilliant performance from Salah scoring two brilliant goals and furthering his lead as the top goal scorer in the Premier League.
