Liverpool face Wolves tonight in the FA Cup 3rd round replay after the 2nd leg ended in a 2-2 stalemate and Hwang Hee-Chan’s goal was ruled out for offside, both sides will face again at Molineux tonight.

Klopp has revealed ahead of the game that he plans to make changes from his previous squad introducing what he calls “fresh legs”, to the team after the 3-0 defeat against Brighton. He labelled Brighton as “outstanding”, after the loss and he says he has to make a decision which senior striker he will bring in against Wolves.

Nunez is “close”, to making a return and Liverpool midfielders James Milner a possibility and Stefan Bajcetic also an option having recovered from his hip problem. Reds skipper Virgil Van Dijk not expected to be fit till February with a hamstring injury and Luis Diaz out till March due to his knee injury.

Henderson could be dropped and Elliot introduced to bring energy to the squad and Matip to be dropped after his shocking show against Brighton, after Klopp stated “”Yes, we will make changes, that’s clear. But it is good as well”. 

Wolves secured a vital 1-0 win against West Ham on Saturday and boss Lopetegui said recently “We have to check how players are, we have the morning of tomorrow to make decisions”. Diego Costa could feature in the cup tie after the manager stated he is “better”.

Pedro Neto is still out due to an ankle injury and won’t be fit till late February, and no comments made on the return of Taraves Oliviera. Ait-Nouri could make an appearance after a bright start against Gilligham and Mathues Nunes likely to start after his performance off the bench on tuesday.
