The dominant nature we’ve grown accustomed to watch within this City team has been missing as of late, so it will be a welcome performance for Guardiola.
“It’s really good the way we played, offensively, defensively, the attention in all the details, the patience that we have.” Marseille, to the surprise of many, including Guardiola, set up with a five at the back, differing from what they’ve opted for throughout their Ligue 1 campaign, “when a team plays in a five-three-two, so defensive, you worry you lose your patience, we were calm in the right moments, everybody in the right positions and that’s why we win the game.”
