After his side got their first win in nine attempts, Dean Smith said his side have to “shift the mood” at the club in order to please the Norwich City fans.

Upon being asked about the Canaries’ 3-1 win over Stoke City at the weekend, Smith also commented: “People want to see their team winning and that is what we have to do. We have players who can create goals, like the second and third (against Stoke). There is no debating that”

With his side currently sitting fourth in the Championship with the chance to go second with a victory at Carrow Road, QPR boss Mick Beale said tonight’s encounter is “a really tough game”.

When asked if his side could bounce back in NR1, Beale stated that: “We certainly know that if we’re at our best we’re a match for anyone in the league. It’s important we return to that.”

Just two points separate the two teams and regardless of the outcome, QPR also have a game in hand on Norwich, so the Canaries have more pressure on them to perform in front of a home crowd.

A win for Norwich would see them go above QPR and just two points off the automatic promotion places.
