Houston Texans
Possibly the worst offseason in recent memory, it’s a tough time to be a Texans fan. They lost DeAndre Hopkins in one of the most one-sided trades I’ve ever seen and didn’t even have a first round pick to make up for it. Despite that, there is still reason to be optimistic, mainly because of Deshaun Watson. The Clemson product can be the best quarterback in the league on his day, and has the ability to paper over some of the cracks in this imperfect team. He outduelled Tom Brady, Matt Ryan and Patrick Mahomes among others last year, and if he can play like that more consistently, the Texans could go far in 2020
Star Player: Deshaun Watson, Quarterback
Key Addition: Brandin Cooks, Wide Receiver
Record: 9-7. There are too many big holes on this team for me to consider them nailed on for postseason football. Watson can carry them to a respectable record, but playoffs is a big question mark
