Arizona Cardinals
It’s an exciting time to be a Cardinals fan. Kyler Murray going into his second year after winning Offensive Rookie of the Year combined with the trade for DeAndre Hopkins means the hype train has indeed left the station in Arizona. However, don’t be surprised if Kliff Kingsbury’s team don’t fully meet some of the expectations set for them. They are in arguably the toughest division in the NFL, with the 49ers, Rams and Seahawks all also legitimate playoff contenders. The Cardinals may not be a nailed-on playoff team this year, but they will definitely take a step forward.
Star Player: Chandler Jones, Edge Rusher
Key Addition: Deandre Hopkins, Wide Receiver
Predicted Record: 8-8. This may be a year too early for such a young team. The NFC West will be difficult to get out of and a playoff berth is a big ask. However, even if they don’t get to the post-season, they will show signs of being a team to look out for in the future.
