New York Jets
The other team in New York have also been struggling in recent years, though they hit a good run of form late last season to bump them up to a 7-9 record, their best since 2015. That run of form was thanks to young quarterback, Sam Darnold playing like a top-10 signal caller for the final eight games of the year. While Darnold can show flashes of exception play, he has also had games where he has looked dreadful. If any head coach is going to be able to help him become more consistent, it is definitely not Adam Gase, who has been a running joke since his first press conference as Jets head coach. On the defensive side, the Jets are without any real star power after they lost arguably the best safety in football, Jamal Adams. It looks like it could be another tough season for Gang Green
Star Player: Le’Veon Bell, Running Back
Key Addition: Mekhi Becton, Offensive Tackle
Record: 5-11. Sam Darnold will improve, but won’t be able to reach his potential under Gase. They will be looking for a new head coach come January.
