Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons are one of the harder teams to predict this season. Talentwise, this offence should be one of the best in the league, with six former first round picks starting on that side of the ball. Matt Ryan is going into his 13th year in the NFL and is possibly the most underrated quarterback in the league. However, this season will all come down to head coach Dan Quinn and whether he can get this team back to playing like the 2016 Falcons who got to the Superbowl.
Star Player: Julio Jones, Wide Receiver
Key Addition: Dante Fowler, Edge Rusher
Predicted Record: 5-11. In a division containing the New Orleans Saints and this season’s ‘hype team’ of the offseason, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Falcons may struggle to reach .500. If that is the case, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them looking for a new head coach come January.
Julio Jones mic’d up is the best.
