Carolina Panthers
It’s a rebuilding year in Carolina. Head coach, Ron Rivera is out and Matt Rhule is in. Cam Newton will also not be on the roster for the first time in nine years, and instead Teddy Bridgewater will be lining up under centre after he impressed in his five starts in New Orleans least season. While no one expects this team to win many games at all this season, they do have some really good players to look out for. In particular Christian McCaffrey, who proved himself to be the league’s best running back in 2019, becoming only the third player in NFL history to go over 1000 yards in both rushing and receiving in a single season.
Star Player: Christian McCaffrey, Running Back
Key Addition: Teddy Bridgewater, Quarterback
Record: 4-12. While this team has promise, it’s too early for them to make any real challenge and it’s likely they will be picking near the top of the draft order come April.
