Marcelo Bielsa’s side squandered a whole host of chances especially in the second-half as Arsenal had Bernd Leno and the woodwork to thank for keeping Leeds at bay, both before and after Nicolas Pepe was dismissed for violent conduct after the Ivorian stuck his head into Alioski’s face.
Substitute Rodrigo, Patrick Bamford and Raphinha – making his first Premier League start – all struck the woodwork as Leeds were left to rue their missed chances
The Gunner failed to trouble their opponents yet again and only had a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang effort in the 60th minute to show for their efforts.

Marcelo Bielsa will be disappointed with his sides poor finishing, while Mikel Arteta will be relieved his side held out for the point considering the context of the whole game.
Both Arsenal and Leeds remain in the bottom half of the table with Arteta’s side moving up to 11th place, two points above Leeds in 14th.
