Good Afternoon, I’m Charisse Augustin, and I extend a warm welcome to tonight’s broadcast of the English Premier League. I will be keeping you updated with a live blog during the North London Derby as Arsenal takes on Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Just a quick reminder, the last time they clashed at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal and Tottenham ended the match in a 2-2 draw. In tonights game Arsenal has to win to stay on the top.

2‘ The Spurs are circulating the ball in the defensive zones and aiming to establish control of possession.
3′ Spurs has more possession so far with Ben Davies winning possession from Saka
7′ Arsenal has made self-inflicted mistakes allowing Tottenham to get the ball easily have have more possession all over again.
9′ Arsenal gets closer to goal and Maddison tackles Thomas Partey giving Arsenal a free kick in a intense zone.
11′ That was not a very well placed free kick as the ball went straight into the wall
12′ Son gets the ball into Arsenal’s zone and the ball slightly went above the crossbar.
13′ Odegaard scored an amazing goal but VAR and the referee says its flagged offside and goal remians disallowed.
GOALLLLLLL!!!! Saka makes it 1-0 at the Tottenham stadium.
18′ Ben White not allowing Werner to take the ball but it was a good pass to the far post by Bentancur.
19′ Free kick for Spurs as Maddison slithers his way to win a foul against Ben White.
VAN DE VEN MAKES IT AN EQUALIZER!!.
26′ Clashes of bodies in the Arsenal penalty box! It should have been a penalty
SAKA MAKES IT 2-0!!!!!!!!!! At the 27th minute Saka puts it in the back of the net
31′ Spurs is doing thier first subsitution. Timo Werner limping off the pitch while Brennan Johnson getting ready to come on for him.
34′ Arsenal really looking comfortable making it look like lits a light work game.
37′ Trossard skillfully secures a corner opportunity for Arsenal.
43′ It close to half time and Spurs has return to controlling the possession of the ball but still not making any attempts to score a goal. Ange has to change the way of play before it gets worst for Spurs.

45+2′ Ben White is called offside as Odegaard attempts to feed him the ball, but the disciplined defensive line of Spurs holds firm.
HALF TIME
HALF-TIME: Tottenham 0 – 3 Arsenal
Observing Tottenham’s performance, they’ve maintained greater possession of the ball in the first half, yet they’re lacking the necessary vigor to convert opportunities into goals. Tottenham has to make a subsitution in the second half to have a better performance.
SECOND HALF
WE ARE OFF FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE DERBY
47′ Declan Rice takes his free kick and there goes Tomiyasu heading the ball over the crossbar!
50′ Tottenham maintains good play by getting the ball into the box but yet Romero still missed by heading the ball over the bar but it was a good attempt.
55′ Brennan Johnson advanced the ball down the left flank, but was unable to evade Ben White, resulting in a corner kick being awarded.

58′ Odegaard crosses the ball over to Havertz but it was just too long for Harvertz. WHAT A RELIEF FOR SPURS!!!
61′ Arsenal gains another corner. Saka tries his luck but unfortunately Van De Ven got it covered.
63′ Arsenal and Spurs both making subs. Trossard comes off and brazilian forward, Martinelli comes on. As for spurs, Richarlison and Bissouma are on for Maddison and Højbjerg.
ROMERO MAKES IT 1-3!!!!!!!
64′ What a finish by Cristian Romero! Raya was not aware and passes the ball straight to Romero. Romero intimidiates Raya and slots it home.
69′ Johnson exposes the ball excessively to the Arsenal defense, while Bissouma astoundingly intercepts Havertz, halting a potential counterattack.
72′ Tottenham still trying to get a goal. Richarlison gets the ball into the box and crosses it then deflected into the hands of Raya.
74′ Richarlison executes a decisive tackle on Thomas Partey. Richarlison is not happy.
75′ Richarlison gets fouled by Declan Rice. Both of them gets into an intense arguement but is then cooled down.
76′ Free kick for spurs but cleared by Ben White.
77′ Kulusevski pushes Martinelli as the brazilian runs towards goal knowing that he couldnt stop him. Its a yellow card for the spurs player.
79′ Ben Davies going hard on Saka and steps on his foot affecting his shin as well.
81′ A yellow card for Davies as he fouls Saka once more!!
82′ Spurs are really under pressure trying to injure players in Arsenal and again another free kick for the gunners. ANDDD THE FREE KICK GETS CLEARED!!!!
84′ OH NO!! Ben Davies goes down in the gunners box and the ref says play on. REF SAYS VAR CHECK!!!!
84′ VAR possible foul says its a PENALTY!
86′ HUENG MIN SON MAKES IT 2-3
87′ The pressure on Arsenal is getting heated. Spurs might make it a draw game.
89′ Another corner for the gunners. Unfortunately Van De Ven clears it.
Its 90 mins and 6 mins of added time.
90+2′ Sarr gets flagged for a foul.
90+2′ Richarlison gets fouled by Arsenal defender, Saliba. Spurs gets a free kick but it gets cleared.
90+5′ Richarlison gets a corner but unlucky.
