At the second half, chances were coming for both sides continuously, but they could not make use of them. Sociedad’s solid defence kept denying Red Devil’s effort and the game became deadlocked. In the end, Erik ten Hag could not succeed to win with two goals difference and as a result, La Real kept the top of the group, which means Manchester United have to play another match to make it to the last 16.
