With Eberechi Eze’s recent hamstring injury that will keep him out for up to 6 weeks, Palace’s injury list is now in double figures as they go into the weekend hosting Nottingham Forest on Saturday evening.

This frustrates no one more than Palace manager Roy Hodgson. Producing a piece of paper out of his tracksuit during the press conference. “This is our injury list. There’s so many that I need this just in case I forgotten.

“One of the words that cause me nightmares these days is the word ‘scan’. Because every scan now seems to turn a one or two-week problem into a six-week break”

With Eze’s recent injury follows a hamstring problem for Cheick Doucoure that makes him doubtful and a groin issue for Joel Ward that keeps him out, which increases Palace’s injury list to 10, despite positive developments with Matheus Franca and Odsonne Edouard.

Despite this, after a fantastic win at Old Trafford last week, Palace look to possibly rise to 7th place with a win against Forest, after failing to win against the Reds last season. And will look towards the good form of the defensive duo of Joachim Andersen and Marc Guehi to continue
