Under-pressure Russell Martin travels to the Emirates as Southampton remain searching for their first win of the Campaign.

When asked upon, the Southampton manager felt as though their “road is similar to Arsenal.” While he accepted that there will always be “bumps in the road” he was very adamant on perseverance.
He later stated that “No bumps is the path you don’t want to go down”. He called for players to “learn from their mistakes” and he will definitely look to rectify these come Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners will have a slightly different objective as they aim to maintain their unbeaten run, and move above Liverpool in the table. While he has acknowledged that the title is “too early to be decided” he will undoubtedly look to be taking all three points.
Jack Stephens remains absent, as serves the remaining of his ban. They will also be without duo Will Smallbone and Kamaldeen Sulemana, who continue to recover from their injuries
