Los Blancos sit top of La Liga, after winning eight out of their nine league games so far this season.

Sevilla are under par, currently sitting down in 14th, with only two wins in their first eight games.

Sevilla will debut their new manager against the European Giants, after Diego Alonso was announced as their new boss following the sacking of Jose Luis Mendilibar.

When asked by the media about the fixture, Alonso said: “Having some players away on international duty is always inconvenient, but the rest of the squad have been training hard and are raring to go”.

Despite their league form, Sevilla remain unbeaten in their UCL group so far, drawing with both Lens and PSV Eindhoven.

Jude Bellingham is the player to look out for; he has comfortably been Real Madrid’s best player this season, scoring 10 goals and getting three assists in his first 10 appearances for the club in all competitions.

During Madrid Manager Carlo Ancelotti’s press conference, he expressed his main concern: “I’m more worried that we have forgotten what we did before the international break.”

If Real Madrid win, this will be a record fifth straight La Liga victory over Los Nervionenses.

INJURIES

Sevilla: Marko Dmitrovic, Mariano Diaz, Erik Lamela, Alfonso Pastor

Real Madrid: Nacho (suspended), Andriy Lunin, Eder Militao, Thibaut Courtois

A win for Sevilla could take them up as high as ninth in the table, while a win for Real Madrid could extend their lead in La Liga to five points.
